Hi, I’m Inga, and welcome to The Enso Way – a space for slow journeys, mindful living, and creative reflection.

Over time, I’ve come to realize that my passions – travel, photography, wellness, and inner growth – are deeply connected. Whether I’m exploring a new place, capturing quiet moments with my camera, journaling my thoughts, or simply enjoying a morning coffee with my Japanese Akita, Eika each experience reflects the values I live by: simplicity, presence, gratitude, and a growing appreciation for life’s imperfect beauty. This is the heart of my blog The Enso Way.

The name The Enso Way is inspired by the Japanese word ensō – a hand-drawn circle that symbolizes the beauty of imperfection, the fullness of the present moment, and the quiet strength of things left unfinished. It’s a reminder that life doesn’t need to be flawless to be meaningful.

About

Travel is where all these threads come together. I’m a meticulous planner by nature and a free spirit at heart. I love the clarity and comfort of a well-thought-out itinerary. Yet what stays with me most are the unplanned moments – the detours, delays, and unexpected conversations. On the road, my inner perfectionist softens. I become more present, more open, more willing to follow intuition than a checklist. Travel becomes a gentle form of therapy – a way to reconnect with myself and the world with clearer eyes and a softer heart.

In everyday life, I tend to move quickly – chasing goals, crossing off tasks, optimizing every hour. But a journey invites me to pause, breathe, and truly see. With a camera in hand, I notice the beauty in daily moments – those little details that speak without words: morning light through old shutters, patterns of shadow on a cobblestone street, a chipped teacup on a windowsill. Each photograph reminds me that beauty is fragile and fleeting – and all the more meaningful because of that.

At home, I slow down in other ways. I’m committed to a lifestyle that is mindful, healthy, and sustainable. For me, that means making thoughtful choices – caring for the planet, nourishing my mind, body, and soul, and moving in ways that feel kind and intuitive.

Writing is also part of my rhythm. This blog is a space to pause, reflect, and explore what’s unfolding beneath the surface. It’s not about polished insights or perfect answers. It’s about honesty, presence, and the quiet work of becoming, at my own pace.

I’ve found that small, consistent steps lead to meaningful, lasting change. Through these explorations, I’ve developed rituals that ground me and bring me back to myself. These simple practices are my anchors.

The Enso Way is built around five themes that shape my days, reflecting a lifestyle that values presence over perfection, depth over speed, and meaning over material things.

  • Wonderlight: Stories and reflections from slow, soulful journeys.

  • Frame by Frame: Mindful photography and the observation of everyday beauty.

  • Paper & Pause: Journaling, self-inquiry, and emotional clarity.

  • The Inner Map: Personal growth, life design, and inner exploration.

  • Everyday Rituals: Grounding routines and the art of nurturing daily rhythms.

If you’re drawn to conscious travel, inspired by wabi-sabi beauty (the charm in imperfection), or simply looking for ways to feel more grounded and alive in your daily life – you’re in the right place.

Let’s slow down and find our rhythm. Together, we’ll explore how outer journeys and inner landscapes weave into a rich, meaningful life.

Join me in celebrating slow journeys, creative detours, and consciously lived moments.
